4: Paper modelling & UV Mapping

I assembled 2 paper models and began to model one in 3Ds Max, I felt that the bear was much easier due to having fewer faces.


I was able to use new knowledge of UV mapping to apply images to the faces of a dice. I preferred this process to the modelling itself and though it was tricky to get the hang of, was quite simple in the end. However, some settings in the software were creating problems and made the process unnecessarily convoluted on my first attempt.


I did a few sketches of wind turbines, mainly trying to figure out how the 'nacelle' should look:
