Storyboarding

Although still not entirely set on a narrative, I constructed a few simple story boards based on a few ideas.

The first is a basic concept about attempting to get someone out of bed in increasingly ridiculous ways - I'm not very excited by this, and neither was Alan, so I've decided against taking it any further.

Next, I attempted to take my 'brain' idea further, but couldn't work out how the narrative would progress. It already felt like too much to tackle, and would require a great deal of setup before the story gets the chance to peak and come to a resolution. I'm still quite taken by the idea, but will let it slide for now!

A final storyboard: this idea came fairly last minute but still draws on the 'body part' theme. A strange creature sits alone, its stomach rumbling... a second creature wanders by and is eaten by the first. The narrative will explore how they interact (whilst one is inside the other).

I think that this fairly simple story will allow me to be quite stylistic in approach - something I am keen to venture into more - and will allow me to portray the characteristics of each 'monster' through their interactions with each other and the setting of the stomach realistically.
