Papery animation

Managed to get my hands on a camera to shoot my stop motion sections and I'm quite happy with how they've turned out. Although the department is about to open up (in a limited way), it was convenient and quick enough that I'm glad to have been able to do it from home.


There are 3 'transitional' clips which you can see in the video below, first in the form of the raw camera footage; then edited without the background and scaled and colour matched to the other paper boil.

For the ripple clip, I wanted the paper to sort of undulate. To achieve this I wet the paper and dried it round a cylindric object; this worked well (I had thought I might have to start the paper from scratch).
